Day 1 Delhi
Your India holiday begins when you arrive in Delhi where the executive from India Holiday Packages will receive you at the airport and help you transfer to your hotel. Afternoon city tour of Delhi covering the Old Delhi - Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Chandni Chowk, Raj Ghat and Shanti Van. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 2 Rishikesh
Move towards Rishikesh at early morning in order to cover the Himalayan pilgrimages like Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath. The Rishikesh tour takes you to Bharat Mandir, Nilkanth Mahadev, Raghunath Mandir and Triveni Ghat regarded as the most important tourist and religious places in Rishikesh. The other temples that follow the series are Chandreshwar Temple, Someshwar Temple, Lakshman and Shatrughan temples. Many yoga and meditation centers also await you at Rishikesh. Day 3 Haridwar - Lucknow
Proceed to Haridwar to see the Har-Ki-Pauri, the sacred ghat constructed by King Vikramaditya. Suchat Singh constructed the temple of Chandi Devi atop the Neel Parvat on the other bank of river Ganges in AD 1929, the then King of Kashmir. The Vaishno Devi Temple which is a true replica of the original Vaishno Devi temple in Jammu is a must visit pilgrimage holiday destination. The Gurukul Kangadi University is one of its own kinds as this education center imparts education in the most traditional Indian way. Board an overnight train for Lucknow.
Day 4 Lucknow
Arrive at Lucknow and check into the hotel. In the afternoon, explore the City of Nawabs of Awadh. Visit the 18th century great Imambara and the former British residential colony - The Lucknow Residency - in the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 Allahabad
Reach Allahabad/Prayag, an ancient holy pilgrimage spot of India. Allahabad University has also earned a lot of name and fame all over round the world. Visit Sangam Fort, Allahabad Fort, Patalipuri Temple and Ashok Pillar. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 6 Sirsa
Reach the Sangam fort early morning and move towards Sirsa by a half-day boat cruise. All meals on board. On arrival in Sirsa you will be transferred to your hotel/camp.
Day 7 Gopiganj
Boat Cruise from Sirsa to Gopiganj . In the way, all meals would be served on board.
Day 8 Chunar
Have a cruise upto Chunar. Arrive at Chunar and check-in at the guesthouse. Overnight stay at guesthouse.
Day 9 Varanasi
Cruise from Chunar to Varanasi visiting Fort Ramnagar Palace enroute. Check in the hotel in Varanasi. In the daytime, you can have an excursion to Sarnath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage holiday destination where he preached his first sermon. Visit Stupas, Monastries and temples in the city. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 10 Varanasi
Enjoy boating in the River Ganges, in the early morning. Visit the ghats that line the bank of the river and are renowned for the performance of the holy rituals in order to obtain salvation. Also visit temples like Shiva Temple, Kashi Vishwanath, the one and only Bharat Mata Mandir in India dedicated to Mother India, Durga Temple and Alamgir Mosque. Day 11 Khajuraho
Morning leave for Khajuraho by flight. The afternoon city tour of Khajuraho takes you to a tour of the magnificent temples here built by the Chandela Kings. The most remarkable temples being the Devi Jagadamba Temple, Chitragupta, Ishwanat, Lakshmana, Varaha and Matangeshwara Temple. Overnight stay at Khajuraho.
Day 12 Agra
Board a flight for Agra from the airport. Check into hotel. Afternoon tour of Taj Mahal - the poetry in marble built by the Moghul Emperor Shahjehan in 1630 for his queen Mumtaz Mahal. Also visit Agra Fort build by the Mughal Emperor Akbar. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day 13 Delhi
Morning move towards Delhi by road. Afternoon city tour of Delhi. Start the tour from the tallest monument in Delhi, the Qutab Minar, Indo Persian Humayun's Tomb, India Gate, Lakshmi Narayan Temple and other tourist places. Also see the President house, Parliament house, Government secretariat buildings and Connaught Place, the most busy shopping center in Delhi.
Day 14 Departure
Reach New Delhi and transfer to the airport where the executive from India Holiday Packages will help you to board a flight for your onward destination.
